Brazil is in top 50 countries that most searched on Google about singer Taylor Swift, 34, over the last 20 years, according to data collected by CNN by tool Google Trends .
While Brazilians ranked 23rd, the countries that most searched for the pop star were Philippines, Australia, United States, Singapore and Canada in this order. Among Brazil, Taylor Swift was more popular in the states Amazona, Amapá, Ceará, Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte.
According to data collected from around the world, Taylor Swift reached her peak of searches this year, in February. The month corresponds to when the artist announced the 11th studio album of her career (The Tortured Poets Department”) and resumed shows on her world tour “The Eras Tour”, after ending the first part of the tour in November 2023.
Taylor’s peak in Brazil was precisely his stay in the country. In November 2023, Taylor Swift arrived on Brazilian soil to make three presentations in Rio de Janeiro and three in São Paulo.
