The actor Josh Charles 53, commented on what it was like to enter the cast team of the sixth and last season of the series “The Handmaid’s Tale”. In an interview with CNN, He said he was very well welcomed, even though the other actors have known each other for about 10 years, and even revealed a moment of fun behind the scenes that lived with his colleagues.
Charles will play an important role in the new episodes. He will bring Nick’s father -in -law to life (Max Minghella) and one of the most important commanders of fictitious Gilead.
“It was something scary, you know, you never know what you are getting into when people have been together for so long. You arrive and your fear is that everyone is a little tired and hate themselves,” joked the actor.
“But it was the opposite of that. It’s just a group of really committed and great people, all very interesting, very talented. They treated me incredibly well, generously and warmly. I’m eternally grateful for it.”
“It was four really lovely months, going back and forth from New York to Toronto and spending time with these guys and working with people like Max, Bradley, Yvonne and Elizabeth,” he said.
Alongside Max Minghella in the interview, they recalled a fun moment they had along with the entire cast of the series.
“As we recorded me, my wife and two children we went with all the cast to the Taylor Swift show one night, and that was really a very fun and special moment. It was too important to have the children all together and having fun together,” said Josh.
Through social networks, the cast even showed a few moments at the artist’s show in November 2024, during the last shows of the singer’s tour, “The Eras Tour”.
The new season of the series “The Handmaid’s Tale” brings the determination of June (Elizabeth Moss) in the struggle to defeat Gilead once and for all.
