Taylor Swift it was totally glam at MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (28), wearing a mini dress Oscar de la Renta wrapped in chains of crystals.
With a high halter neckline and sparkle, the look balanced elegance with sensuality, providing glimpses of the singer’s torso.
Swift played with the look on TikTok posting a video before and after her getting ready for the awards.
Set to Blackpink’s new single, “Pink Venom,” the latest clip shows her walking towards the camera alongside video co-star Dylan O’Brien and cinematographer Rina Yang.

Sparkling dresses – of all lengths – have been a mainstay of Swift’s wardrobe, with the singer sporting a fringed silver number on the back. Grammy Awards from 2010 and a one-shoulder ensemble for the VMAs in 2009 (when Kanye West infamously kidnapped her during his speech).
This year’s Oscar de la Renta look continued the theme – and she completed the look with dark red lipstick.
She paired the ensemble with Christian Louboutin crystal heels.
By the end of the night, Taylor Swift won not one, but two of the VMA’s “Moonman” silver awards for Best Longform Video and Best Video of the Year.
She was joined on stage by O’Brien and Yang, as well as video producer Saul Germaine, although co-star Sadie Sink was not present.
Swift thanked her collaborators on stage, adding, “Before that, I had directed and written my music videos, but I had never made a short film.”
