The Federal Court of Auditors (TCU) frustrated the expectations of the federal government and published on Friday night (8) the agenda for next week’s judgment without including the analysis of the second stage of Eletrobras’ privatization.
The government was waiting for the Court of Auditors to complete the process by next Wednesday (13) in order to complete the sale of the state-owned company in a month, until May 13.
Minister Aroldo Cedraz can, if he wants, ask for the process to be included in the agenda at any time.
However, as reported on Thursday by Broadcast (Grupo Estado’s real-time news system), he will be out of BrasÃlia in the next two weeks. According to the agenda released this Friday, he will report only three processes in the next session.
Despite not being in the capital, people close to the minister claim that he can still report on the process virtually, as the TCU sessions take place in a hybrid model.
On the other hand, one wing of the Court finds it difficult for this to occur, given the magnitude of the trial – considered the most important of the year, so far, in the Court.
