A teacher was attacked by the mother of a student at a state school in Greater São Paulo.
Images from security cameras recorded the attack, which took place last Tuesday (17), at the Professor Donizette Aparecido Leite School, in Embu-Guaçu (SP).
Waiting and aggression
The mother, after waiting, goes after the teacher after she leaves the classroom.
After starting an argument with the teacher, the mother starts attacking the teacher.
The two fall to the ground, as does a student who tried to break up the fight. Another student then takes advantage of the teacher being on the floor to kick her.

According to the police report, the attack resulted from a previous argument between the attacker’s 17-year-old son and the teacher.
According to the Public Security Secretariat, the case was registered as bodily injury, threat and insult at the Embu-Guaçu Police Station.
The Department of Education said that a psychology professional will go to the school “to welcome employees and define strategies for dealing with situations of poor coexistence in the school environment”.
Violence against educators increased in 2023, according to a survey that found that eight out of ten teachers reported having suffered aggression in the school environment. This rate increased by 20% in 2023 compared to 2022. And six out of ten teachers say they fear for their own physical integrity.
