Techart has released a new adapter that allows Sony E-mount lenses to be used with Nikon Z-mount cameras. It is called the TZE-02 and is an evolution of the TZE-01. The new adapter differs from its predecessor in that the image stabilization function now works with manual focus lenses.
The adapter provides electronic lens control and transfer of information to the camera for recording in EXIF. It supports the work of stabilization systems in the lens and in the camera, “face detection” and “eye autofocus”. The presence of a USB port allows you to update the firmware using a PC.
The list of compatible cameras includes Nikon Z 7II, Z 6II, Z 7, Z 6, Z 5, that is, full frame mirrorless cameras with Z mount, but the adapter cannot be used with Nikon Z fc and Nikon Z 50 APS-C cameras. Note that APS-C lenses can be used with an adapter.
The Techart TZE-02 adapter costs $ 249. It is already available for pre-order.
