Technical and humanitarian aid is sent to Rio Grande do Sul by the government of Minas Gerais

Support teams with technical and humanitarian aid were sent to Rio Grande do Sul this Thursday afternoon (2). The sending was made by the government of Minas Gerais through the Fire Department of Minas Gerais and State Coordinator of Civil Defense MG and Department of Health.

The objective is to provide necessary assistance in search and rescue actions for victims of floods caused by the recent rains that hit the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

This Wednesday (1st) two Civil Defense professionals from Minas Gerais have already traveled to the state to begin the first work.

Military firefighters specialize in search and rescue in floods and floods and must remain in this mission for at least a week.

In total, 28 CBMMG soldiers are being transported by both land vehicles and aircraft.

The Cesna Caravan plane, from SES-MG, is scheduled to take off from Pampulha airport at 3:30 pm this Thursday (2), carrying part of the team, and has a structure to transport any victims.
