In an interview with CNN Radioat the CNN Educationthe president of Wiser, Flávio Augusto, evaluated that the technology “can contribute to opening up the possibility for people to achieve knowledge that is not explored in the formal educational system.”
According to him, there are four skills necessary for a professional to stand out in the job market: “behavioral skills, ‘soft skills’, such as leadership and emotional intelligence; entrepreneurial skills, initiative, innovation, creativity; professional skills, such as English, office suite, productivity, time management, more tools and technical skills, which are linked to the profession.”
In the entrepreneur’s opinion, “the educational system is very focused on technical skills, but the others almost always do not learn, this is the great challenge and technology can contribute.”
Flávio Augusto reinforced that there is inequality in education, and that this is a tool of “greater social exclusion”, since “any possibility of mobility involves education and this format excludes the absence of opportunity.”
“Technology is an instrument to solve this problem, we are of a generation that has the opportunity, through technology, to solve complex problems in an easier and cheaper way than others”, he added.
