To the American website “TMZ”, the filmmaker’s son, Thomas Kotcheff, said the Director died peacefully on Friday (11). He was surrounded by his family in a hospital in Mexico. The cause of death was not revealed.
Throughout his career, Ted Kotcheff received nominations and won awards for his work developed in the cinema. In 1974, for example, he won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Festival for the movie “The Learning of Duddy Kravitz”.
