A 59-year-old man was arrested by the Federal Police (PF) for sexually harassing a 16-year-old teenager during a flight between São Paulo and Manaus, on Tuesday (24). He was detained at the airport in the capital of Amazonas.
According to the passenger, the man would have put his hand on her thighs while she slept. She said that after waking up, she asked the flight crew for help, who relocated her to another seat on the aircraft.
The young woman revealed that, before touching her, the man would have bumped into her body several times when recording videos from the plane window. The victim also reported that the passenger made it difficult for her to pass when she wanted to leave to inform the crew of what happened.
Airline employees said in testimony that the support and arm, which is between the victim and the accused, was raised. According to the delegate responsible for the case, the man assumed to have consumed alcoholic beverages before the flight.
