A 15-year-old teenager was tied to a fence post and had several injuries on his body, on Monday morning (16), in the rural area of Aragominas, in the north of Tocantins.
According to information from the Military Police, the corporation was called by the Guardianship Council after complaints from neighbors, who saw the boy tied to a fence in the PA Vitória Régia settlement. According to the complaint, the teenager had been tied up for more than 3 hours.
Upon arriving at the scene, police arrested a 38-year-old man suspected of having committed the act.
The perpetrator confessed to having tied up the teenager and attacked him after a theft committed by the young man, involving a pair of jeans, a headset, a cell phone charger and the amount of R$300. All items were recovered.
He claimed to have released the minor and given him R$50 to return home, but that he did not know where the teenager had gone.
After searching, the teenager was found by the police on a farm, who confirmed the attacks caused by the man.
According to the PM, the victim had an injury on his forehead, back, a bruise on his left leg and marks of ties on both arms.
Both were taken to the Araguaína police station, where a report of bodily harm was filed. The man gave a statement and was released.
