A high school student was hospitalized after being assaulted by another student from the same educational institution this Thursday (8), in Águas Claras, in the Federal District. The case was recorded as bodily injury and crime against the child.
The Objective College of Águas Claras, where the aggression occurred, said in a statement that the student responsible for the aggression was transferred from the institution. According to school information, the episode of aggression occurred during the exchange of teachers in the classroom.
The hospitalized student was hit by a punch. After the incident, the institution called the families involved, as well as the competent bodies, including the Child and Adolescent Police Station, where the case was registered, and the Claras Water Guardianship Council.
According to the school grade, appropriate pedagogical measures were adopted, including a new intervention in the class, reinforcing systematic monitoring through the Educational Guidance Service (SOE) and intensifying the holding of lectures and formative actions.
The occurrence was registered by the Civil Police as bodily injury and crime committed against children and adolescents. The school said it is in continuous contact with the hospitalized student’s family.
