According to the release notes of the latest version, the group video calls 2.0 can accommodate up to 1000 participants while 30 users are allowed to share the video from the camera or screen of their device: “We will continue to increase this limit until all people on Earth can join a group call and watch us celebrate with the yodel ( soon) »announces the official dedicated blogpost.

Among other new features, the function for speed up video playback and for share screen with device audio and also, for the more creative, the media editor allows you to draw on the photos with greater precision: in fact, the width of the brush is automatically reduced when the image is enlarged, giving us a more precise stroke.
There are some minor changes such as the addition of new animated emojis, camera improvements in-app which can finally take advantage of all the zoom levels of the device and the ability to set the automatic deletion of messages after one month.
