And since groups and channels have long supported live video broadcasts with an unlimited number of viewers, with this function we will be able to exploit groups and channels as if they were real television broadcasters. To broadcast from these tools it is enough to start a new one Video chat – in a group – or one Live streaming – in a channel – and tap the button Broadcast with by entering the details shown by Telegram within the streaming software.
Among the other changes introduced, moreover, we find one new login procedure for android and macOS users, a redesigned attachment menu which integrates the camera option in the gallery and a navigation bar that allows quick access to photos and files, and a download manager to view, pause all downloads or individual items and select them to increase their priority.
Finally, for those who haven’t set up a username, it’s now possible create a direct link to the phone number which can be shared to allow other users to chat with us simply by clicking on it.
