Telegram has blocked a popular bot to “drain” data from Russians. Roskomnadzor requested this

A few days ago, on March 9, Roskomnadzor employees put forward a demand to the management of the Telegram messenger to block bots that collect personal data of Russian citizens from open or merged databases for the purpose of further resale. According to the ministry, these bots earn about 200 million rubles per year, and the most popular is the so-called “Eye of God”. Today, March 12, Telegram fulfilled the requirement of Roskomnadzor by blocking this bot – the attackers will no longer be able to receive private information of Russian citizens from this source.
