The Wallet cryptocurrency bot, integrated into the Telegram messenger, froze the funds of the founder of the Omsk Civil Association Daniil Chebykin and the editor -in -chief of the Skat Media publication Leo Gimmer. Both users are included in the Russian register of extremists, the activities of their organizations are prohibited in the Russian Federation.

Chebykin reportedthat Telegram-Wallet has blocked 170 USDT immediately after it enters the register of Rosfinmonitoring extremists. Gimmer described a similar situation: his 100 USDT was frozen after such a decision of the Russian authorities.

Wallet is built into the functionality of Telegram and allows you to send cryptocurrencies right in chats – but formally not connected with the messenger that indicated In the user agreement.
