Telegram strengthens the security of the messenger. The development team is currently working on enabling users to link their accounts with an email ID. After that, Telegram will use it to check every time the user logs into the application from a new device.
Officially, Telegram has not yet announced this, but developer Alessandro Paluzzi managed to find out some details. In particular, he shared screenshots of privacy settings describing a new feature that is currently in development. As you can see in the image, users will not only be able to add their email, but also use Google to log in. In addition, the messenger will allow you to change your email address, that is, untie your account from the old identifier and bind it to a new one.
At the moment, Telegram does not have an option to add an email. To protect your account, the service offers two-step authentication. This allows you to set a password that will be required to access the messenger on a new device. During the activation of two-step verification, users have the opportunity to add mail to recover a forgotten password.
