Teleperformance Greece renews its partnership with We4All for a greener and more sustainable future

For the second consecutive year, Teleperformance Greece renews its cooperation with We4all, aiming at the protection of the environment and the enhancement of the urban greenery of Attica.

Teleperformance Greece, the first company “Earth Protector” of the Environmental Alliance “We4all”, successfully completed the initiative of planting 2,000 saplings in 2021. This year, as part of the renewal of its cooperation with the Organization, it will enrich its environmental activities. The partnership is part of Teleperformance’s corporate responsibility strategy and Citizen of the Planet pillar for environmental protection and sustainability.The Citizen of the Planet (COTP) is a global initiative launched in 2008 to ensure that the company operates in an environmentally friendly and responsible manner.

The first action of the year has already been completed and concerned an information and awareness campaign on social media. On the occasion of “Earth Hour” on March 26, Teleperformance Greece invited the public to participate with mentions in the campaign post, promising to plant a corresponding number of saplings during the year. In this context, on Saturday, April 2, the first tree planting of more than 320 trees took place in the Model Family Park of Elliniko, with the participation of more than 150 volunteers of the company and the organization Friends of Greece – Best Buddies Greece, which aims to support and social inclusion of people with mental and developmental disabilities.

In 2022, Teleperformance Greece will organize further tree planting, as well as cleaning, in areas of Attica. Most initiatives encourage both the participation of the public and the participation of organizations that support people from vulnerable groups, in order to promote and strengthen their integration and inclusion in society as a whole.

In addition, in the context of raising awareness of the new generation on sustainability and the environment, a series of environmental education will be implemented in schools in Attica from October to November 2022. The aim is for students to cultivate respect for the environment and become familiar with key concepts. such as recycling, volunteering and climate change.

The Chief Human Resources Officer of Teleperformance Greece, Triantaphyllos Alexopoulos, stated regarding the renewal of the cooperation: “Environmental and social sustainability are key priorities of Teleperformance Greece. In this context, we follow a holistic approach with a series of actions aimed at “protecting the environment and sustainable development, while promoting fundamental values ​​such as inclusion, equality and individual responsibility for the environment and for future generations.”
