Ten children and two adults were injured when school bus overturned yesterday Wednesday (20/9) on his way Houstonthe most populous city in Texas of USA.
According to the Houston Fire Department, ten students and two adults – the driver of the school bus, as well as the driver of the car involved in the accident – were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The traffic accident occurred when an SUV collided head-on with a school bus which was turning to enter a highway. The school bus overturned due to the impact. According to local media, two more vehicles were involved in the accident.
The transfer of the 12 injured to a hospital was done for precautionary reasons, ABC13 broadcasts. The responsible school district, meanwhile, noted in a statement: “At this time there do not appear to be any serious injuries and the students’ families have been properly notified by school officials to receive all necessary information.”.
