Ten years since the crash of the plane of flight MH17 – Unanswered questions of the relatives of the victims remain

Ten years after the crash of flight MH17, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof pledged today to relatives of the victims of that fatal flight – in tears and dressed in black – to continue to hunt, against all odds, those responsible for this tragedy. In 2022 Dutch justice sentenced three men, two Russians and a Ukrainian, to life imprisonment in absentia for their role in the crash. But Moscow has refused to extradite the suspects and has always denied any involvement. Last year, international investigators suspended their investigations, citing insufficient evidence to prosecute more suspects. “We remain united in our fight for justice,” Schoff said today, however, before hundreds of relatives and officials who came from Malaysia, Australia, the United Kingdom, Belgium and Ukraine.
