Two people were tragically killed and a third were seriously injured when a car they were riding in crashed into a swimming pool in the backyard of a house in the city of Chino in California of the USA.
According to the police, the driver lost control of the car at some point, making turns. The car crashed into a spot on the road and was thrown into the air. It flew over a wall, overturned and landed in the house pool.
Three people were inside the vehicle. A 21-year-old died on the spot accident. Two others, a 27-year-old and a 23-year-old, were taken to local hospitals. The man eventually succumbed to his injuries.
The woman remains in hospital in serious condition. Their names have not been released, according to CBS Los Angeles.
“I heard a loud squeal or I do not know what, and then I heard a noise,” said the owner of the house and swimming pool where the car fell, Art Guerrero.
“I was here talking. I heard someone moaning there. ” Guerrero discovered the 23-year-old woman still alive.
“The policeman was talking to her: Stay awake, stay awake, trying to hold her and not lose consciousness”, explained.
The cause of the accident is not known. Neighbors say the turn at the crash site is dangerous. “This angle has a lot of traffic and people unfortunately do not meet the speed limit,” said Adrianna Stoddard.
