The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and specifically an autonomous group of its military arm claimed responsibility for the attack on the Turkish defense industry TUSAS last Wednesday in Ankara that left five dead. The attack came shortly after the leader of the ultra-conservative MHP party, Devlet Bakhceli, said that PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan would be released if the organization disarmed.
