Tesla has begun rolling out a major new software update for its vehicles. It includes many new modes, features and changes.
For example, now the Dysney + service has appeared in the Tesla infotainment system, which will clearly appeal to families with children.
There is also a Car Wash Mode designed for car washes. In this mode, the car closes all windows, blocks the charging port, disables wipers, security mode, door locks and parking sensor beeps. For automatic conveyor belt car washes, the Freee Roll option switches to neutral and prevents the parking brake from being automatically applied if you leave.
Cars equipped with auto-dimming mirrors have the ability to deactivate this function. Tesla has also improved the performance of the built-in DVR. The system can now automatically save video whenever your vehicle detects a safety-related incident (such as an accident or an airbag deployment).
Tesla also added support for new languages to the system, including Russian. Hungarian and Romanian are also added.
