US-based electric vehicle startup Canoo recently unveiled its all-electric pickup truck during Virtual Media Day (VMD) hosted by Motor Press Guild in partnership with Automobility LA.
At the event, the company announced that pre-orders for the production version of the pickup will be open in the second quarter of 2021. According to the manufacturer, deliveries of the electric truck will begin as early as 2023.

The Canoo electric pickup has a completely different design than the Tesla Cybertruck. The front end design reminds a bit of an old Volkswagen T2 from the 70s, but in a completely new futuristic style. The company claims this pickup is very durable and reliable. It also has a number of innovative features that make it suitable for everyday use.
The Canoo electric pickup truck is rated for 320 km without recharging. The engine will have a power output of up to 600 hp. and a torque of 745 Nm. It will also have a payload of up to 820 kg. The truck is 193cm tall, meaning it will be slightly taller than the Tesla Cybertruck (190cm), but lower than the Hummer EV, which is 206cm tall.

In length, it loses to competitors, it is 467 cm, while there is a retractable part that can increase the total length to 541 cm.The length of the Hummer EV is 548 cm, and the Tesla Cybertruck is 587 cm.
Users can divide the space in the trunk with modular dividers. Other interesting design features include side steps, folding side tables and a front compartment with folding table and storage section.

The company has not yet announced a price, which will be announced in the second quarter when pre-orders begin.
