Tesla has reported on the volume of production and delivery of cars for the first quarter of this year.

During the reporting period, the company produced 180,338 cars and delivered 184,800. This, by the way, is a new quarterly record for Tesla. At the same time, in annual terms, supplies more than doubled, but in quarterly terms – by only 2%.
Interestingly, this quarter, judging by the company’s own data, it did not release a single Model S or Mode X car and delivered only 2020 such cars. Apparently, this is due to the recently presented updated versions, which are just preparing for the start of production, as well as to the temporary closure of one of the factories due to a lack of components.
