Tesla is due to recall about 12,300 Model X vehicles worldwide due to molding problems. This was announced on its website by the German road transport authority (KBA).
According to KBA, the recall concerns Tesla Model X electric vehicles manufactured in 2015 and 2016. There is allegedly a risk that the moldings on these electric vehicles could fall off the body.
It was recently revealed that KBA is investigating the safety risks associated with touchscreen displays in Tesla vehicles. It has already asked the American automaker to provide information necessary for the investigation.
