Tesla has already done a lot of refurbishment work on its Model S and Model X passenger cars, but these are just a couple of several planned new additions for this year. Much more significant events are the launch of the Semi electric tractor and the Cybertruck pickup truck. And judging by how events are developing, Semi will be the first on the conveyor – one of the users managed to shoot a pre-production copy of it on video.
If we compare this white copy with the concept (in the picture below it is red), then there are some interesting differences.
As you can see, the pre-production Semi received aerodynamic flaps between the wheels of the first and second pairs, a narrower side mirror, and the windshield is now straight, as opposed to the curved one in the concept. And of course, one cannot fail to notice the shortened spoiler above the cockpit in white Semi – in red it covers the battery compartment too. In general, there are enough differences.
Recall that the production of Tesla Semi was supposed to begin in 2020, but this never happened. Therefore, now we are waiting for Tesla serial electric tractors already this year.
