Tesla tests payments in Dogecoin and Shiba Inu

American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has begun testing Dogecoin payment acceptance. The necessary code has appeared on the main site of the company, but so far it has not been used.

How noted on Twitter, the developer under the pseudonym “Three of Alpha”, the code speaks of full preparation for accepting DOGE coins.

“Most of the code is already in the latest java files that are used to process payments. At the moment, part of the code for working with Dogecoin always returns null, that is, it is not shown to users. This is a popular way to test in a production environment, ”wrote the developer.

He also said that he tried to click on the “order through Shiba” button and the page worked. That is, in addition to Dogecoin, the company is preparing to accept SHIB.
