Tesla’s robot appears dancing in new video and web reacts: “Better than me”

THE Tesla released a video of the humanoid robot developed by the company, the Optimus in which the machine appears dancing to the sound of different musical rhythms.

Elon Musk, owner of the company, has been publishing records that show advances in robot mobility over the last few years. In 2024, Optimus appeared on the billionaire’s social networks folding t -shirts, for example.

The robot was first presented in October 2022, in a rudimentary version that has been moving little and has since been undergoing several improvements.

One of Tesla’s engineers who works with Optimus – also called Tesla Bot – talked about the advances made so far by republishing the video of the dancing robot.

“It’s all at real time, zero CGI, fully learned in simulation and zero-shot transferred to reality. In addition to being fun, we had to make significant improvements in our simulation robot model, domain randomization and other techniques that will be transferred directly to more practical situations as well (robust walking and whole body agile control in general),” explained Mila Kovac in her X-profile, ancient Twitter.

In the video in which the robot appears dancing, several comments show the surprised and even unbelievers netizens with the dance steps of Optimus.
