Tesla's 'spaceship-like' electric car briefly shelved

A feature of the Model S Plaid is the dynamics – the car accelerates to 100 km / h in just 2.1 seconds! The car has recently broken its own lap record on the Laguna Seca circuit in California, where it performed almost on the level of the McLaren Senna. The Model S Plaid is a big sedan, not a cramped sports car. According to Musk, the Model S Plaid feels like a spaceship. Here he apparently meant acceleration during acceleration. However, Tesla will have a more dynamic model: Tesla Roadster 2 with the SpaceX package will accelerate to 100 km / h in 1.1 seconds.
