Tether froze 870,000 USDT on three cryptocurrency wallets. This was reported by the specialists of the Misttrack service.

The first address (TGI8 … ZDFU) was used for operations with Whitebit and OKX exchanges.
The second (0xa1 … C53F) Misttrack was marked as a source of funds associated with theft, phishing and schemes like a “romantic bait”.
The third (0xca … 73b8) interacted with the wallets that conducted operations on the Gate.io stock exchange.
Tether regularly frozen the means associated with illegal activities. According to Dune Analytics, for all the time the company blocked 2192 addresses with USDT totaling $ 1.4 billion.
On March 6, Tether froze the wallets of the Russian exchange of the Garantex in the amount of more than 2.5 billion rubles.
