Thailand: Six dead and over 230,000 affected by the WIPHA Tropical Storm

The WIPHA tropical storm, which has been scanning Thailand for 10 days, has already caused the deaths of 6 people and has influenced the daily lives of more than 230,000 citizens across the country, authorities said today with disaster management. As of July 21, heavy rainfall accompanying this storm have resulted in floods in 12 provinces, especially in the northern and central part of the country, according to the Thai disaster prevention and management service. “We are watching the impact of WIPHA closely and we are in coordination with the affected provinces to help those in need,” a statement posted on its Facebook page said.
