“This Is How It Ends” film adaptation of the book by Colleen Hoover got its first trailer this Thursday (16).
The title stars Blake Lively (“Gossip Girl” and “A Small Favor”), Brandon Sklenar (“1923”) and Justin Baldoni (“Jane, The Virgin”) – who is also responsible for directing the film.
In the plot, Lily Bloom (Blake Lively) believes she has found the love of her life, however, after an attitude Abusive of Ryle (Justin Baldoni), she remembers her dark past and must decide whether love alone can move the marriage forward. To complicate things even further, an old love reappears in her life.
O film hits Brazilian cinemas on August 8 , after being postponed a few times. Initially, the title was scheduled for February 9, 2024, but production was affected by strikes that took place in Hollywood in the second half of 2023. Recordings resumed this year.

“This Is How It Ends” is Colleen Hoover's biggest hit. The book was released in 2016 and won over the public in the last two years, being the best-selling book of 2022 and the second of 2023, according to Publishnews. A sequel was published at the end of 2022, titled “This Is How It Begins” .
