A couple was arrested on Tuesday (14) suspected of integrating a gang specializing in the production of drugs with tetrahydrocanabinol (THC), the main asset of marijuana.
The arrest took place in a hotel in the south of São Paulo, and with the duo the agents of the State Department of Narcotrafficking Prevention and Suppression (Denarc) found about $ 1.5 million in cash.
According to the Security Secretariat, the action was a continuation of Operation On Ice, which arrested three members of the gang at the end of April.
The operation carried out by the 5th Narcotics Investigation Police Station (Dise) last month caused a loss of about $ 30 million to organized crime, according to the folder.
At the time, a ton of narcotics, including marijuana, Ice, Haxixe and Skunk, was seized, in addition to R $ 2 million in cash.
According to investigations, the action was only possible, as the researchers discovered the gang scheme, which trafficked narcotics linked to tetrahydrocanabinol (THC), the main active of marijuana.
The criminals frequently circulated through the five target addresses of the operation, at addresses in the west of the state capital, and in Carapicuíba and Cotia, in Greater SP
In all, three vehicles, nine cell phones, two televisions, one notebook, a bank card and traffic notes were collected.

The case was registered at the 5th DISE Police Station of Denarc. Prisoners continue to the disposal of justice.
