The 15 least Instagram secret beaches in Europe

Stay in the sun and bathe in a beautiful beach, in the middle of the wild nature but away from the crowds: who wouldn’t want to do it? The hardest part is figuring out where to go, because often the most fascinating beaches are also the most unknown. One comes to orient us new ranking compiled by the English e-commerce OnBuy: starting from a rose of names of “secret” beaches considered among the most spectacular in Europe by travel journalists and bloggers, he started looking for the least cited ones on Instagram. The result is the list (to always keep at hand) that you find in the gallery above.

In first place, with just 428 hashtag, there is one of the thousands of beaches that made us fall in love with Greece: it’s about Kamilia, north of the island of Kefalonia. A place that if you don’t know you don’t discover: is a small bay with a sea that has all shades of blue, which can be reached with a walk of a quarter of an hour among olive trees and cypresses that gives great emotions.

In second place there is cala Sa Forcanera located in the municipality of Blanes, Costa Brava: a beach just 15 meters long, with a golden beach and wonderful sea.

Spain still in third place, but this time the secret place in question is on the ocean: it is about Melide, in Ons, an island in the small Galician archipelago of the same name. There is also a secret Italian beach: i Baths of Queen Giovanna which, with 4,258 hashtags, are in the last place among the lesser known beaches.

It is one of the most spectacular places to swim in Sorrento: a small lagoon connected to the sea by a rock arch and surrounded by the remains of an ancient Roman villa. It was the favorite place of Queen Giovanna D’Angiò: legend has it that here she bathed with her lovers. To discover the beaches, browse the gallery above
