The Joint Ministerial Decision was signed on Friday, July 29, which defines the criteria for inclusion in the program of subsidizing places in nurseries and daycare centers for the period 2022-2023. The deadline for submitting applications will be determined immediately by the Hellenic Society for Local Development and Self-Government.

The program “Promotion and support of children for their inclusion in preschool education as well as for the access of school-age children, teenagers and persons with disabilities to creative employment services” for the period 2022-2023 is announced with an increased overall budget (national and community participation ) amounting to 331.2 million euros. For the first time with the new program:

1. The children themselves are the beneficiaries.
