The 22 state regional airports are given a ‘package’

The concession of the 22 state regional airports to a single entity was revealed by the managing director of the Superfund, Grigoris Dimitriadis, in the context of a press conference for the business plan 2022-2024.

According to Mr. Dimitriadis, the 22 state regional airports that the Superfund has in its portfolio, will be announced as a “package”, while for the airport of Kalamata he stressed that the international concession tender will be announced within July – August.

The concession period of both the 22 state regional airports and the airport of Kalamata is estimated at 30 – 40 years.

The 22 state regional airports, which are currently managed by the CAA, are the following: Chios, Alexandroupoli, Araxos, Karpathos, Lemnos, Ioannina, Milos, Naxos, Paros, Ikaria, Kythira, Leros, Sitia, N. Anchialos, Kalymnos, Skymos , Syros, Astypalea, Kastellorizo, Kastoria, Kasos and Kozani.
