A man from Britain learned at a young age that he would not be able to do it father biologically, after his sperm stopped producing, he still had his first childfrom a sample semen which he had given 26 years ago.
THE 47-year-old Peter Hickles who is engaged to her 32-year-old Aurelija Aperaviciutewas diagnosed with a serious illness in 1996, according to thesun.co.uk. In particular, from a young age he played football and was in the children’s section of Tottenham, until in his teens he transferred to Dagenham and Redbridge, while he ended up playing ball at Grays Athletic.
So one day, felt unwell and the doctors they thought he was suffering from rheumatoid arthritisbut two weeks later they found a tumor on his back. Then, at the age of 21 he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
However, medical advances allowed the clinic to preserve the sperm for 26 years, allowing the 47-year-old and his 32-year-old fiancee to use it to become parents.
“It’s unbelievable to think it’s been in the freezer all this time“, he said and added that “the sperm sample was deemed viable as well we decided to do an IVF“, which it cost 30,000 euros.
