The 666 Satan Shoes with a drop of real blood

Three days ago, the rapper Lil Nas X has unveiled the video of his latest single, Montero (Call Me By Your Name), which in just over 72 hours has exceeded 31 million views: in the song, the artist – whose birth name is Montero Lamar Hill, first appears in an idyllic bucolic setting inspired by the garden of Eden, and then falls into the temptation of the famous snake symbol of original sin, and ends up straight ‘Hell.
A journey that, however, the rapper made in style, sliding down a kilometer-long pole of Pole Dance and showing his skills in this splendid sport, reaching the throne of Beelzebub and even taking his place.

A video highly criticized by American conservatives, who pointed to Lil Nas X in praise of lust with the “aggravating circumstance” of homosexuality: the rapper’s response was not only literally epic, stating: “You told us gays that we would go to Hell, but if we go there, it’s not okay “, but also in terms of marketing, throwing themed shoes.

In collaboration with the company MSCHF, the musician will sell 666 paia in Satan Shoes to celebrate the new video, with a singular peculiarity: inside, in fact, each shoe will contain a drop of human blood, powered by six employees of the extravagant company in Brooklyn. A drop of blood was mixed with the ink that fills the shoe’s air bubble, a Nike Air Max 97. A project with which, for the record, Nike has no connection and from which it has distanced itself, given the particularly controversial topic. Each pair of sneakers will cost $ 1018, and comes as a continuation of a diametrically opposite line, that of Jesus Shoes, which contained holy water instead.

The shoes also feature a pentagram-shaped bronze pendant with the inscription Luca 10:18, a reference to the biblical passage which reads: “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.” To sarcastically respond to the huge social media hype about shoes, yesterday Lil Nas X posted a video on YouTube titled Lil Nas X apologizes for the Satan Shoes, but what appears to be, for the first few seconds, an apology video, is actually a further push to the super sexy scene of her dance for the Devil himself.
Obviously, with the launch of the shoes the criticisms they could only continue to grow: for the governor of South Dakota Kristi Noem, as stated on Twitter, it is wrong to advertise shoes as “exclusive” to young people: “What’s more exclusive? Their eternal soul given by God, ”he wrote. And the rapper was quick to reply: «You’re a governor and you’re here tweeting about some damn shoes. Do your job! ». Shoes will also be damned, but no doubt they will soon be too sold out.
