Entitled “Sustainability-Extroversion,” cultivating “growth for agricultural products” takes place on 30 and 31 May, in Thessaloniki, at the Mediterranean Palace Hotel, the 8th Hellenic-German Food Forum, co-organized by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BAS HELLAS SA and the Greek Embassy of Greece in Berlin.
The two-day event, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, the Region of Central Macedonia, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Association of Exporters – SEVE and organized with the support of the Hellenic-German Assembly, takes place again after two years pandemic. It provides three thematic sections focusing on fresh agricultural products and in particular, in the fields of production, processing and standardization, while it will also include B2B Greek-German meetings.
In particular, on the first day of the 8th Hellenic-German Food Forum, three public debates will take place:
The first will be entitled “Sustainable agriculture / Smart farming – Sustainable Practices in Agriculture and Food Production.
– The second will present an e-Manual for exports, prepared by the Member Committee “Agricultural Economy” of the Hellenic-German Chamber.
– On the third, a panel discussion will take place, under the coordination of the Hellenic-German Assembly, entitled: “Agricultural Cooperatives. Turning and strengthening them towards extroversion”.
B2B meetings with six German companies are scheduled for the second day of the Forum, which will explore the possibility of concluding trade partnerships with Greek producers, distributors and standardizers of agricultural goods. More specifically, they are import companies, distribution companies and wholesale and retail networks with a strong presence in the German market.
