“Star Wars: The Acolyte” Lucasfilm's new original thriller series, arrives on Disney+ on June 4, with the first two episodes. The other six will be made available weekly, always on Tuesdays.
The production is the first live-action that shows the High Republic and presents the investigation of a wave of crimes, placing the respected Jedi Master played by Jung-jae, against a dangerous warrior from his past, Mother character by Amandla Stenberg.
Faced with the clues, they are led down a dark path, where forces reveal that not everything is as it seems.

Amandla Stenberg (Mae's performer)
At 25 years old, the American actress and singer became known for playing Rue in “The Hunger Games” (2012). She also appeared in the TV series, “Sleepy Hollow”, in the role of Macy, in addition to starring in “Everything and Everything” (2017) – a film that featured her first single, titled “Let My Baby Star”.
This time, Stenberg plays Mae, the main character in “Star Wars: The Acolyte”, a warrior involved in a sequence of suspicions surrounding the murder of the Jedi during the High Republic.
Lee Jung-jae (performer of Sol)
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Lee Jung-jae is an actor and model – with a long history in the film industry. He even won the 2022 Emmy in the category of Best Actor in a Drama Series for his performance in “Round 6”, on Netflix.
Now, in the new thriller, he plays Sol, a respected Jedi Master who investigates the wave of crimes taking place in the High Republic.
Manny Jacinto (Qimir's interpreter)
The Canadian actor, born in the Philippines, is 36 years old. After several appearances on television, his most prominent character came as Jason Mendoza on the NBC sitcom “The Good Palce”.
In the new series, he plays a former smuggler who became a merchant and ends up crossing paths with the protagonist Mae.
Dafne Keen (player of Jecki Lon)
British-Spanish actress Dafne Keen grew up in London and soon returned to Madrid. Among her prominent roles are “Ani” Cruz Oliver in “The Refugess” and the mutant Laura Howlett/X-23 in the 2017 film “Logan”.
In the original series, she plays Jecki Lon, who was a Padwan apprentice to Master Sol.
Charlie Barnett (performer of Yord Fandar)
The American actor secured success at the beginning of his career by starring in the drama “Chicago Fire”, in which he played firefighter and paramedic Peter Mills.
In “Star Wars”, he plays Yord Fandar, a Jedi knight who is also the guardian of the “Jedi Temple”, in addition to being gifted and a faithful follower of rules.
