A new trailer for “The Acolyte” series from the universe of “Star Wars” was released this Saturday (4). see below. The title premieres on Disney+ on June 4th.
The production is set 100 years before the events reported in “Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace” film released in 1999.
In the plot, a former Padawan reunites with his Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they face are more sinister than they ever predicted.
The series stars Amandla Stenberg (“Hunger Games”), Jodie Turner-Smith (“Queen & Slim”), Lee Jung-jae (“Round 6”), Manny Jacinto (“The Good Place”), Dafne Keen (“His Dark Materials”), Carrie-Anne Moss (“Matrix') and more.
