In an exclusive story, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported early Monday that “the impulse is growing among the advisors of the US president Trump to impose 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada as soon as February 1 .
The advisors do not want to expect any negotiation or conversation.
A ‘senior administration official’ not identified in the report said Trump is willing to act quickly, citing the imposition of president’s tariffs on Colombia.
