The After saga will have a prequel and a sequel

Not only are the third and fourth installments of the saga in post production – which will be called After we fell e After ever happy – ma A new sequel and prequel have also been announced. Hence, the events of Tessa e Hardin they will not only end in these four films, but will go on for at least two more films.

Obviously the scripts will be based on completely new stories as, unlike in the past, there will no longer be the books of Anna Todd to refer to. To get to work, as a writer, there is already the director of the last two After, Castille Landon who has already released some sneak peeks on what we might see in the future.

First of all, let’s start with the prequel which will be completely dedicated to the character of Hardin. His adolescence, his first love and the traumas related to his childhood will be told. We will try to understand, therefore, the reason for his impetuous character that has created many problems in the relationship with Tessa. Landon explained that: “Hardin she has lived through very dark times, especially with her family and in her relationships. We will see more regarding this story, long before that Tessa came into his life, and how these experiences changed him.

Very juicy is also the plot of the sequel which will be based on completely new interpreters. In fact, if our favorite couple has managed to fulfill their dream of love, this time it will be up to the next generation. The protagonists will be Emery e Auden, the children of Hardin e Tessa, and their cousin Addy. The trio, in the stormy teenage phase, will try not to replicate the mistakes from their parents / uncles. «The idea – explained the director – came to us while we were working on it After we fell e After ever happy. Seeing the films come to life during editing prompted us to investigate the origins of the characters we already know, but also to think about a next generation. I am enthusiastic because I can expand on topics already touched upon and introduce these new adolescent boys to a whole new audience ».

The idea was immediately welcomed by the producers of the films who adore the enthusiasm of fans every time a novelty related to the saga is made public.
