The fourth installment of the Age of Empires RTS series, developed by Relic Entertainment and World Edge from Xbox Game Studios, is now on sale. It is worth noting that the release of Age of Empires III took place on October 18, 2005, that is, the series was taking a 16-year break.
Age of Empires IV includes single and multiplayer modes for eight players. The single player mode features four story campaigns dedicated to different eras, countries and historical figures such as Genghis Khan and William the Conqueror, 35 missions in total. Eight civilizations are available for cooperative and competitive multiplayer play: Chinese, Delhi Sultanate, English, Mongolian, French, Abbasid dynasty, Holy Roman Empire and Russia, each of which has different abilities and play styles. The development team also plans to provide official modding tools in early 2022.
