According to the Korean Car Blog, the new Kia Sportage crossover is in high demand. Kia sold 7,540 new crossovers in South Korea in November, placing Kia Sportage at the top of the top-selling car rankings last month.
Compared to November last year, when the Kia Sportage was ranked fourth, sales soared 354.8%. At the same time, compared with October, when sales amounted to 4,258 vehicles, the growth was 77.1%.
The new Kia Sportage surpassed the Hyundai Grandeur with 6,764 vehicles, as well as the Hyundai Avante (4,947 vehicles), Hyundai Sonata (4,845 vehicles), Hyundai Palisade (4,448 vehicles), Kia Sorento (4,447 vehicles), Genesis G80 (4,263 cars) and Kia K8 (4,128 cars).

The new fifth generation Kia Sportage was launched back in August, six years after the launch of the fourth generation. Since the launch of the first generation in 1993, a total of 6.13 million units have been sold worldwide. This is the first Kia car to have sales exceeded 6 million units worldwide.
The new Sportage has amassed a record number of pre-orders – more than any other compact crossover. It was second only to the new Sorento on pre-orders, which surpasses it in size.
