On June 4, the Morocco police arrested Badis Mohammed Bajjou, the alleged organizer of a series of resonant abductions of crypto -businessmen and their families in France.

According to the Morocco police, 24-year-old Frenchman of Moroccan descent Badis Badju is suspected of coordinating the abductions of the French crypto entrepreneurs, including the co-founder of Ledger David Balland in January 2025.

The last incident occurred in broad daylight on May 13 in Paris, when several attackers allegedly tried to abduct the daughter and grandson of Pierre Noizat, General Director of the French crypto platform Paymium.

The France police said that the crimes incriminated by Badis Badju were aimed at extorting large amounts of ransom in digital currencies for crypto entrepreneurs and members of their families.

The Minister of Justice of France Gerald Darmanin added that Badju coordinated attacks from Morocco and used messengers to recruit crimes, as well as thanked Morocco authorities for assistance in his arrest, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation between law enforcement agencies in different countries in the fight against organized cryptoprefinity.

Earlier, French law enforcement agencies reported a large -scale operation, during which more than 20 members of criminal groups suspected of abduction of crypto entrepreneurs were detained in order to extort digital assets.
