Alphacool recently introduced a component for liquid cooling systems, designated ES 4U. This is a reservoir designed to be paired with a D5 pump. The resulting unit is designed to mount directly on the front of the 4U server. According to the manufacturer, the thoughtful arrangement in the server case simplifies maintenance.
The reservoir cap is made of transparent plastic, making it easy to check the coolant level. The presence of a second set of G1/4″ ports allows you to fill and drain coolant, even when the coolant is in the housing. The reservoir top is compatible with all D5 pumps. The kit includes a retaining ring, o-ring and screws necessary to mount the pump.
Product dimensions are 121.6 x 101.2 x 70 mm. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 110 euros.
