The Apostolic Palace Doors Open again: When will Pope Leo move

The Vatican Apostolic Palace is expected to be inhabited by Pope Leo ID, as opposed to deceased Pope Francis, who had rejected the palace, preferring a Vatican hotel, according to several Holy See officials. The papal apartments are located on the top floor of the palace, a 16th -century building overlooking St. Peter’s Square. They include about 10 rooms, such as bedroom, private library and office, dining room, kitchen and chapel. Renovation work is currently being carried out at the Palace and, according to a senior Vatican official who spoke to Reuters on the condition of anonymity, Pope Leo is expected to move there after his first papal function on Sunday.
