The Apple-1 computer signed by Jobs was sold for half a million dollars. There are 50 left

Last week at RR Auction one very interesting little thing was sold. The rarest Apple-1 computer, signed by Steve Jobs himself, went under the hammer for $468,750. Initially, there were 200 such computers, it was them that Jobs sold to the owner of The Byte Shop, Paul Terrell (Paul Terrell) in 1976.

As you know, Steve Jobs, along with his friend and partner Steve Wozniak, assembled the first Apple computers in the garage of Jobs’ parents. For 10 months, young enthusiasts managed to collect about 200 devices and sell 175 of them. To date, such a computer is a very rare instance.

At RR Auction, an Apple-1 model with the number 01-0068 was sold. The computer was previously owned by collector Roger Wagner, who bought it in 2002 at the Vintage Computer Festival in California. The lot also included an instruction manual signed by Steve Wozniak. By the way, this is not the first Apple-1 sold at auction recently. Last month, Dubai’s AAPl Collection put up for sale its own computer, which went under the hammer for $340,100.
